I am thrilled to announce our new Palm Beach Trend Offices in the very chic WORTH AVENUE BUILDING! Yes, the building is PINK – perfect, right?!
We are now located across the street from Saks Fifth Avenue (I feel at right home!) and other faves like Valentino. While I miss seeing my daily trend customers at our little boutique in Via De Mario, I just really had to focus on my fast-growing beauty biz and wholesale accounts.

The fabulously pink Worth Avenue Building and my new Mirror Mirror offices on the 2nd floor!

205 Worth Avenue is perfectly located on Worth Avenue and South County Road. I LOVE it!
I can still take care of our Mirror Mirror Trend Fans from our showroom, so just call 917.348.4291 for special appointments.
And you can visit our trend boutique locations at Trump Spa at Mar-A-Lago (for members), Palm Beach Oceanfront Inn (3550 South Ocean Blvd.) and Eleven Spa (1440 North Federal Hwy.) in Delray Beach!
Also, I just decorated the Palm Beach Oceanfront Inn’s lobby and new Beach Bungalow Lounge at the Tides Bar & Grille – you’ll swear you are in South Beach! It’s super chic! I’ll add new photos to my journal next week.
Speaking of South Beach … I just got back from Miami where I stayed at the Sagamore Hotel and it was the BEST. Very cool. For the Super Bowl the entire hotel is turning into the Playboy Mansion!

Sagamore Hotel
And be sure to check out the new W Hotel South Beach. The lobby has a smart fashion décor. Quite unique and a definite “must see.” As I am working on my new PRODUCT LOVE marketing book and my new Floribean Fragrance (Palm Beach Pretend), South Beach was most inspiring!

Boo! … Halloween is fast approaching … and I can’t wait to celebrate at tomorrow’s big Halloween Kiddie Parade on Worth Avenue … Mirror Mirror has donated fabulous auction gifts for this very special annual event … What can I say … I always liked treats better than the tricks!
More details about the parade:
Witches, wizards, ghosts and goblins are billed as the guests of honor Oct. 27, when Worth Avenue landlord Burt Handelsman will throw his annual Halloween Costume Contest.
In its 21st year, the free event turns the scenic Gucci Courtyard into a daylight den of fright and fun. Hundreds of participants dare to be scary, vying for prizes donated by Worth Avenue merchants.
Registration will be from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the courtyard entrance. The contest will begin at 11:30 a.m., with judging in three categories: infants to age 2, ages 3 to 6 and ages 7 to 10.
Sherry Frankel, president of the Worth Avenue Association, event chairwoman, praised Handelsman for picking up the tab so many area children can play dress-up.
Where else can ghosts and goblins mix with their own kind, “in broad daylight and with the blessing of the Palm Beach Police Department?” quipped Frankel, who calls herself “Scary Sherry, Witchtress of Ceremonies.”
Lily Capehart, known as “The Lizard Whisperer” for her appearances on television with David Letterman and Ellen DeGeneres, will make a special appearance, Frankel said.
Merchants who have donated prizes include Neiman Marcus, Chanel, Ta-boó, Wachovia Bank, Amici Ristorante, Mackenzie-Childs, Ralph Lauren, Gucci Palm Beach, Sherry Frankel’s Melangerie, Eye of the Needle, Victor’s Cafe, Bonpoint, Margaritaville, Vivi’s, Grande Armee, Okra, Tourneau, Commerce Bank, Mirror Mirror, Sunset Pilates, Kassatly’s, Marley’s Palm Beach Collection, Erwin Pearl, Saks Fifth Avenue, Eclectica, St. John and Juicy Couture.
Prizes will be awarded in each age category for various criteria: funniest, scariest and most creative.
Judges this year will include Nancy Mizelle, of Commerce Bank; Gucci Courtyard resident Richard Halpern; Palm Beach Daily News Editor Pat Thomas; Tara Zigler, manager of Juicy Couture, and retailer Barbara Katz.
Handelsman conceived the event to make the Avenue more approachable.
With its reputation as a sophisticated shopping venue, the district’s mystique can be intimidating, “but this shows we’re just real people,” Frankel said.
For more information, call Sherry Frankel’s Melangerie at 655-1996.

Whenever I’m in New York I love to check out the hip new restaurants … so I grabbed some friends and hit Employees Only in the West Village for dinner … They have a fortune teller in the window (I’m much better ha ha!) … and the whole place has a rough-around-the-edges speakeasy vibe. We set up a table in the back garden … feasting & drinking for hours until making our way to a hot little dance club nearby to burn off those calories. The restaurant was a bit hit or miss … but if you love that edgy hipster scene and old-school cocktails … Employees Only is right up your alley.

The Mirror Mirror Palm Beach office has been a whirlwind of activity … I’ve barely had time to think! … We’ve been burning the midnight oil on several exciting new beauty projects … including a fabulous trend tour in New York City!
Jimmy Choo … Christian Louboutin … Tory Burch … Catherine Malandrino … we hit all of the hottest fashion spots. The weather was perfect, the hot new trends were in full force, and we even caught a glimpse of the filming for the “Sex and the City†movie! I also spied Dr. N.V. Perricone while lunching at the ultra-swanky King Cole Bar at the St. Regis Hotel.
Between cocktails at the Waverly Inn … manicures at the Kenneth Salon at the Waldorf-Astoria (where Angelina Jolie had just come in to get her nails done!) … breakfast at the luxe new London Hotel … my hair appointment at John Sahag … lunch at Saint Ambroeus … and a quick … there was so much to see and do & I’m still trying to recover from it all!

Mirror Mirror Imagination Group & Jeanine Recckio featured in Today’s
May 10, 2007
Skin Deep
All-in-Ones: Bring on the Tiny Purse
By ALIX STRAUSS
NO strangers are we to multitasking; it was only a matter of time before we demanded our makeup do the same. These days, sticks, pencils and compacts can perform multiple beauty duty without dominating the purse — or the wallet.
For a while the two-in-ones made some noise: Vincent Longo, Stila, Lorac and Smashbox offered liquid stainers or creamers for both lips and cheeks. While the stainer gave cheeks a flushed glow, it added just-bitten color to lips.
But that wasn’t enough. Enter three-in-one makeup, wands and sticks made to be worn on lips, cheeks, eyes and even the shoulders and neck.
“Movable color is having a popular moment because of new technology and modern formulations,†said Jeanine Recckio, of Mirror Mirror Imagination Group, which forecasts beauty trends. “The colors and consistency is more forgiving than heavy makeups of the past.â€
Nars was one of the first, in 1997 introducing the Multiple, which it billed as “the original all-in-one, cream-to-powder, multipurpose makeup stick.†The stick can be used to highlight, sculpt and warm eyes, cheeks and lips. At $36.50 and with 12 shades, when is the last time a product tried to accomplish so much?
In the last few months three new products arrived: Rush Hour ($20), by Benefit, a slim, oil-free stick, promises an “instant makeover†for eyes, lips and cheeks; 3-of-a-Kind Twist-Up Stick ($3.59), by Wet n Wild; and e.l.f. All Over Cover Stick ($1), which at two inches tall, is also a space saver.
Multitaskers appear to be selling. More than 100,000 wands of Rush Hour have been sold since mid-January, exceeding Benefit’s expectations, according to Benefit’s founders. The Multiple is consistently one of Nars’s best-selling products, said Kimberley Thomas, Nars’s vice president for North America sales.
“Women want to simplify the makeup application process,†said Trish McEvoy, whose Essential Pencil ($20), advertised as a lipstick, blusher and overall highlighter, is also a top seller.
Certainly, the two- and three-fer products are cost-effective. A shadow ($21), blush ($25) and lipstick ($23) from Nars can easily cost more than $65.
And customers seem to find them convenient and time-saving.
“It’s about practicality,†said Rebecca McGuire, 32, a branding consultant whose career often requires her to attend events at the last minute. “I need something that’s compact but works everywhere.â€
She said she prefers Nars Multiple St. Barts shade: “I love that I’ve found one product that makes me look pretty and presentable without feeling as if I’m covered in makeup.â€
Yet it’s difficult enough to find one color you love for one facial area, let alone one that works in multiple spots. And, said James Boehmer, Nars’s international lead makeup stylist: “With one color you take the chance of looking monochromatic and flat. It’s not the most exciting thing you can do with your makeup.â€
But a good color — Mr. Boehmer prefers Multiple’s Portofino — that is used well “can give a luminescent finish†to lips, cheeks and eyes, he said. “That’s a lot of get from one stick.â€

Bring out the piñatas and crack the castanets—it’s fiesta time on Worth Ave! And to help celebrate, Jeanine Recckio, the world’s only beauty futurologist, is offering 10% off to all shoppers who visit her Beauty & Lifestyle Concept Boutique during the Fiesta on Worth Avenue on April 22.
The annual festival, which takes place from noon to 4 p.m., transforms this tawny street to a colorful celebration of Latin fashions, food and fun – all with Palm Beach flair. Strollers enjoy live Latin entertainment, delicacies, drawings, customized piñatas and colorful decorations. They can even put their best faces forward during a Carmen Miranda look-a-like contest.
“This is an excellent way for the merchants and shoppers on Worth Avenue to celebrate this vibrant culture, as well as come together for a good cause,” says Recckio. Shoppers have a chance to win one of two luxury Irving Rice mirrors Recckio has donated for the charity drawing, benefiting the New Hope Charities.
The location of Recckio’s new boutique on the charming Italian Via De Mario boasts a bit of its own international flair. A stroll into an Italian wonderland of luscious greenery and stone garden sculptures, the store is a hidden treasure.
World-traveled Recckio herself is also no stranger to global celebration. Within her boutique she opens her imaginary suitcase from her jetsetting adventures and displays the chicest lifestyle finds from around the world. Recckio offers handpicked global must-haves – stylish linen shawls from Italy, the prettiest Parisian vases, elegant mirrors from Milan, exotic Mediterranean seashells.
Recckio has been the secret weapon for international cosmetic empires, Fortune 500 companies and upstart brands. Her signature can be found on global brands and products that have revolutionized the way the industry and women view beauty – think MAC, Estee Lauder, Sephora, Dessert Beauty Jessica Simpson, the Body Shop, Revlon and more.
